Ephesians 4:29–32

This blog is like a public diary for me, which is why it’s full of randomness, and, to some probably, madness. Just being real once again…

You can only break someone’s spirit so many times before they walk away, for good. When they’re broken down far enough, they’re gone.

You can’t talk down to someone and expect him or her to hang around, for very long. Time will run out and they will, too.

If you make someone feel dumb, like they’re only an inch tall, you seriously need to reevaluate your words and ways.

The things we say and do can crush others if we aren’t cautiously aware of how we’re being perceived. It doesn’t always matter that you didn’t intend to come across a certain way, if someone’s feelingsgot hurt, it’s up to you to dig deeper and resolve what was misunderstood.

People, as a whole, need to learn to better communicate. Although texting can be convenient and I thoroughly enjoy it, it’s much easier to misunderstand the tone of a persons voice when they’re saying things via text. Our body language is also a tool that can effectively convey our position on a topic, attitude towards a person/conversation that we’re having; don’t be unaware of what yours portrays.

Ephesians 4:29–32

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

I want this post be a simple reminder for everyone to be aware and reminded of how you come across in your personal and impersonal interactions with others. Let’s be more like Christ today!
